On April 24th, 2013 the world of fashion stood still for a couple of seconds. In Dhaka, Bangladesh a poorly built textile factory collapsed and became a symbol of the industry’s inequality.
More than 1135 workers were killed to feed the global appetite for cheap clothing. It’s time to put an end to Fast Fashion. Now.
Let’s revolutionize the textile industry and show the big players that it can be done better: No wage slavery, no chemical madness, no cheap mass production.
To raise awareness for the true cost of fashion and the inhumane conditions in textile factories, Fashion Revolution Day was initiated and takes place every year on April 24th.
We created this video to support the cause and join the Fashion Revolution movement. Because we think it’s never too late for change.
